(openPR) - Berlin, 20 February 2008 – The ERP-manufacturer PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berlin’s PSI AG, is expanding its product portfolio. In cooperation with Fulda’s CSS GmbH, one of the leading providers of solutions for finances and human resources, a new application for accounting, especially-tuned for the ERP suite PSIpenta will result.
The new module with the name PSIpenta finance uses the powerful eGECKO platform of the widely used CSS products as its base. The new application has the same look and feel of the ERP standard PSIpenta. The functional and technical integration of the individual application components has already been implemented for the first customer projects. The users profit from the seamless data exchange between the systems and obtain a continuous integration at the same time.
The basis of this joint product development is the development and sales partnership contract concluded between PSIPENTA and CSS. The alliance, designed for the long-term, follows upon the founding of an own company which is dedicated solely to the programming of PSIpenta finance. The proven partnership with Varial Software AG remains unaffected.
“CSS is an established software manufacturer for finances – solid, independent and innovative,“ says Alfred M. Keseberg, Managing Director of PSIPENTA, explaining the strategic step, “All the prerequisites which aid us and our customers, not only in the technical integration, but also in the international marketing of ERP solutions.” The localized versions of the two companies therefore complement each other almost 100%.
PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, water, heat), cross-company production management (steel, mechanical engineering, automotive, logistics) and infrastructure management for telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs more than 1,000 persons in the group. www.psi.de/en/ www.psipenta.de/en/
