Akademie becomes authorized training partner for S4M Systems in German-speaking regions

ARD.ZDF medienakademie receives the exclusive rights for training courses on three software systems designed by systems and consulting company S4M – Solutions for Media. The official cooperation was announced during the 2nd VPMS User Meeting in Cologne, 29th and 30th January.

With this step an already long standing cooperation is further broadened and at the same time turned into an official partnership: ARD.ZDF medienakademie receives exclusive status as an authorized S4M training partner for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. „We are happy to have in the akademie a highly professional partner in the field of training, whose expertise in the media is widely known in German-speaking regions“, says Andreas Jung, Head of Business Development at S4M.

As yet, the akademie has already carried out training on VPMS, S4M’s Video Production Management System. VPMS supports the professional management of digital video assets – from acquisition through versatile production schemes to playout, distribution or archive.
In addition to those VPMS trainings, the ARD.ZDF medienakademie will also offer trainings on the S4M production planning system S4Production and on EasyMedia PRO, a solution providing analysis of TV ratings information.

“Actually, it’s the customer who benefits most of this cooperation”, says Karlheinz Weber, one of two managing directors at ARD.ZDF medienakademie. “In bringing together and bundling the core competencies and experiences of the two partners, we are able to offer a comprehensive tailor-made training for our target groups – a training that not only covers the respective product but also illuminates the corresponding professional environment and workflows in the media production process.”
