BOCHUM – smart optics says goodbye to the well-known Activity 885, only to follow this up with the Activity 885 Mark 2 including new 2.10 software in November 2016. Most of all, the dental 3D scanner impresses with its speed, the Activity 885 Mark 2 is up to 50 per cent faster than its predecessor. In combination with new calculation algorithms, the scan is completed quicker than before. Preparing the data for a 3-pontic bridge now takes users an average of only 40 seconds.

Other advantages of the Activity 885 Mark 2:
The module secondDie: this is always included in the scope of delivery and increases the efficiency of the scanning process by up to 40 per cent, the reason being: a completely segmented saw-cut model is recorded in only three steps.
A free 36-month warranty rounds off the overall package.

For older Activity scanners:
A 2.10 software update is also available for the Activity 845/855/875/885 and makes these up to 40 per cent faster than the older versions.

Outlook IDS 2017:
Today's users can feel both relaxed and curious at the same time as far as 2017 goes: smart optics will be presenting a new operating software in a new design and with a new workflow.
