(openPR) - January 4, 2008 Chicago, IL – Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) has invited Zeus Capital Advisers to visit Saudi Arabia and to explore partnership opportunities with Saudi companies. “We are honored to be invited by SAGIA and hope to utilize our time in the Kingdom to explore business opportunities with Saudi companies” said Fawad Butt, Managing partner at Zeus Capital Advisers.
ZCA officers will visit the Kingdom for a period of 2 weeks and during this time they will be introduced to key decision makers and business leaders in the region. “We intend to explore opportunities with a variety of Saudi companies in the areas of Islamic banking, Real Estate and Investment services”. “Saudi Arabia is the largest economy in the GCC and is currently experiencing rapid economic expansion. The Saudi government is actively investing in the country’s infrastructure and other related areas. This represents a tremendous opportunity for ZCA to help build key alliances in the region” said Mr. Butt.
During the visit, ZCA executives will meet with some of the largest investment banks and real estate developers to explore synergies. “The goal of this visit is to get a better understanding of the Saudi market and to forge key relationships in areas where ZCA can add value to existing Saudi initiatives”.
Saudi Arabia with a population of twenty million is the largest economy in the GCC and by some estimates controls up to 20% of the global oil supply. The Kingdom has been actively involved in diversifying its economy beyond its petro base. One of the efforts by SAGIA under the mandate by his Royal Highness King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz is the creation of various economic cities. “The economic city projects alone represent an investment of over $100 Billion by the government” said Mr. Butt.
The housing and real estate sectors are seeing rapid growth in the Kingdom, and with the creation of regulatory standards and availability of financial instruments is expected to out pace the region in its growth.
