(openPR) - medical-congresses.com, the worldwide most extensive online database for medical congresses has been re-designed - primarily the German version, although the new face of the international version will follow soon.

Divided into two parts, the search section contains the daily updated database with over 80.000 worldwide events (together with dental-kongresse.de). Among others, the most important international medical associations, workgroups, organisations, societies etc. are represented here. Certified events can additionally be specially selected. The second section is the “Announcment“ area, which serves as a platform for all event organisers. After registering, the user is enabled to enter events free of charge into the database, these are then published online shortly afterwards.. Large international congress organisations as well as small consortiums can submit medical courses, symposiums or annual meetings and directly address target groups. “The main benefit of a dynamic online database lies definitely in the lack of an editorial deadline. New events can by announced daily and existing congresses can be altered comfortably from home“, the editorial management illustrates.

Service is the main focus on medical-congresses.com and dental-kongresse.de. Medical and dental practitioners can find all events required, from one single source and organisers can advertise their events free of charge. Thus, both groups are served well with only a few mouse clicks.
The 51st edition of the medical congress calendar has now been available over www.medical-congresses.com since December 2007. For the first time, the market-leading compendium contains a considerably higher number of events than so far – 4.400 specially selected congresses on 780 pages serve the physician as a useful tool for planning CME activities.
