Fashion, Lifestyle, Trends
Press release from: Modern Cat Designs
(openPR) - SAN DIEGO, California -- January 24, 2008. Modern Cat Designs has launched a line of upscale cat furniture that meets the needs of the consumer and their feline friends.
Small, Wall, and Tall are part of a product line satisfies the historical needs of the once traditional cat tree with scratching capabilities, bed comfort, levels of retreat, and multi-colored fabrics; in addition it appeals to the modern consumer who desires a sophisticated environment.
“Focused equally on cat usability and owner’s needs the Wall, Tall, and Small offer the modern cat owner designs that integrate into their environment instead of traditionally disrupting their décor,” said Ian Schoen, product manager at Modern Cat Designs. “We see a great need for the modern cat to be stimulated through design oriented furniture. It allows the cat to scratch, sleep, and play in style. There is no reason to compromise usability; instead we’ve integrated it into modern living.”

For both cats and owners these products are appealing accessories that don’t associate with a tired industry. “The amount of pet owners looking for socially and aesthetically acceptable cat products is overwhelming. We’ve arrived from hours of research and development at what we think will be a good blend of style, comfort, and affordability; something not yet associated with the pet industry.” Dan Lilly, of Modern Cat Designs. “We look forward to serving the market from a fashion-forward position; it’s an exciting time to get involved.”
Modern Cat Designs’ new products take advantage of cross-woven fabrics in multiple colors to match existing furniture and interiors. The structures also utilize a patent pending technology that enables the user to assemble the furniture simply and quickly. The combination of materials makes for great functional conversation pieces that are designed for cat and design lovers alike.

Availability
The Modern Cat Designs furniture is expected to be available to the U.S. market beginning in late February through web outlets.
