A photographer and a jewelry designer, Vanessa Quijano is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she was born and raised. Self-taught, inspired by childhood travels, she developed a passion for creating jewelry at a very young age. Innately drawn to the arts, especially photography, Vanessa Quijano graduated from “The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale”, Florida in 2001. She achieved an Associates Degree of Science in Photography, specializing most in digital photo retouching and manipulation while creating a passion for travel photography as well. Pursuing jewelry design, photography and traveling, she proudly combines her passions for a living. It wasn't until 2007, after a lifelong appreciation and creation for jewelry, that she decided to take her jewelry design career to the next level. She earned a diploma for Jewelry Design and Repair Technician and beautifully creates an online boutique and gallery featuring her new jewelry line as well as her personal and professional photography work.
