(openPR) - At the beginning of the year, DIGITUS® launches onto the market a Powerline Adapter which offers a real alternative to the conventional home network of from two to 15 networked computers.
The high-speed transfer rate of 200 Mbps has a range of up to 150 m through rooms and between floors. The data transfer takes place over the power supply network available in every household. The DIGITUS® Ethernet Adapters therefore enable joint Internet access via DSL modem.
The DIGITUS® DN-15019 Powerline Adapters can be used independent of the operating system and are downwards compatible with the earlier generation of 14 Mbit Powerline Adapters.
The integrated encryption process generates a password at the Powerline Adapter at the touch of a button, and thereby guaranteeing maximum security against interception.
The recommended retail price for a set of two units is € 134.90 for the end-user.
