BBQing Just Got a Whole Lot Easier with Buffet Bag On the Go- Let the Good Times Roll

New York, NY, August 13, 2016: Thirty-eight-year-old Tanika Salmon from New York City had a grandmother named Beatrice Moore. Born and raised in the south, Beatrice loved barbecuing during the hot summer months.

Tanika's grandmother also had an apartment on the 4th floor, and the apartment had no elevator.

Tanika loved her grandmother’s barbecues; however, she dreaded the inevitable clean-up that followed them—along with needing to lug everything up four flights of stairs.

Tanika: “My grandma's barbecues were awesome, full of family, friends, fun, laughter and good old delicious finger licking southern barbecuing.

“But as we know, all good things must come to an end, and this saying holds true when it came to the cleaning up and packing away of the food and supplies.

“It was one thing to clean up and pack away the food and supplies, but it was another thing to carry all those things up four flights of steps. OMG, just the thought alone leaves me breathless when I think about all those steps and how many times I had to stop to take a breather or to give my sore legs a break.”

It was reminiscing about moments like this that led to Tanika's creation called Buffet Bag On the Go.

Buffet Bag On the Go is a beautifully designed, futuristic shaped cooler that has been equipped with padded straps for easy mobility, an easy grip handle, 3 insulated Tupperware storage shelves, 3 drawers (for plates, napkins and eating utensils) and 1 cooking utensil holder.

Buffet Bag On the Go also comes complete with 3 large Tupperware containers, tongs, a pot fork and a spatula.

Tanika: “I guess given my history with barbecuing and all, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why I created Buffet Bag On the Go.

“I wanted to create a way for families to get together and organize a barbecue (or any other outside event that has to do with food) without all the drama of packing the food, looking for containers to pack the food in and then stressing about cleaning up and packing the food away after the barbecue/event, or moving the food to another destination—in my case, it was my grandma’s apartment, which was located on the 4th floor.”

When asked who else could benefit from her one-of-a-kind cooler, Tanika went on to list a number of potential uses of her groundbreaking product.

Tanika: “Anyone, really. If you love cooking outdoors, camping, potlucks, barbecuing or tailgating, catering, or even if you are someone that organizes trips to Atlantic City and you serve food on the bus, this product is for you.”

Tanika will be launching a Kickstarter campaign with an anticipated launch date of August 30, 2016. Tanika is hoping to raise a minimum of $100,000 to help fund the production cost of her bag.
