Onepoint Extends Integration with Microsoft Office Applications
Press release from: Onepoint Software GmbH
(openPR) - New Update to Onepoint Project features revamped MS Project import and export functionality
Graz, Jan 16, 2008 – The latest version of Onepoint Project now enables users to exchange their project data with Microsoft Project fast and easily. The new version “7.1 Update 3” of Onepoint‘s project leadership software includes fully redesigned import and export functionality for MS Project and is available immediately. Onepoint Software, with its headquarter in Graz, Austria, focuses solely on creating integrated and easy-to-use project planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting solutions. Onepoint Project is also known to be easy to install and to maintain.
The new update is primarily targeted at project managers and controllers who have the need to exchange project planning information between Onepoint Project and Microsoft‘s project planning application. The new version includes both improvements to the import and the export functionality, including support for Microsoft Project 2007 files for the first time.
“Microsoft Office is the most widely used productivity application suite and the MS Project file format is the de facto standard in exchanging project planning data,” says Onepoint founder and CEO Gerald Mesaric. “This is why this update is so important for us: It makes it a lot easier for our users to exchange information between Onepoint and their Microsoft applications.”
Onepoint will continue to improve integration with Microsoft’s productivity applications as well as its support for the Microsoft operating systems and database throughout 2008.
Onepoint Project runs on Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/2003 Server, Apple Mac OS X 10.4/10.5 as well as on most current Linux distributions. Free trial versions of Onepoint Project 7.1 Update 3 are available from the Onepoint website www.onepoint.at.
