(openPR) - Company Ships Six FLEX(TM) Pre-Clinical Imaging Systems in December; Sets New Annual Sales Record
NORTHRIDGE, CA and OSLO, NORWAY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/20/2006 -- Gamma Medica-Ideas shipped six of its FLEX™ Pre-Clinical Imaging systems in December to academic and pharmaceutical customers in the United States and Canada. The six shipments consisted of four MicroSPECT(TM)/CT dual-modality systems and two PET systems. The two PET systems were added to existing Gamma Medica-Ideas MicroSPECT/CT systems, converting these dual modality systems into tri-modality systems. Gamma Medica-Ideas is the only company in the world that offers three imaging modalities in one system.
"It´s gratifying to see customers respond so enthusiastically to our vision for pre-clinical imaging," said David Wilk, Gamma Medica-Ideas´ Senior Vice President of Sales. "Offering three modalities that can be configured in a variety of customized ways in a single platform is a unique and attractive proposition for the imaging community."
