Magora has created a new mobile application which unites the best features of an event application, navigator, and social network. In May 2016, ShowApp was first launched on the iOS platform and is coming soon to Android.
Collaboration that Always Pays Off

In a close collaborative effort with the client, the Magora team developed this mobile application to have an individualised user approach and run on advanced automatic searches that power its content generation. At the same time, ShowApp has tremendous potential for businesses users, allowing them to reach their target audiences and generate viral advertising for any scheduled event. Serving both of these communities, ShowApp will make a profit in three distinct ways: paid content, a ticket-purchasing system, and payment for commercial events.

What’s New?Magora’s new case of mobile and web application programming

ShowApp, just like all event applications, offers general information about events. However, unlike those other apps, ShowApp offers a number of additional features that enhance its value to users. In terms of power, this application contains an algorithm developed by Magora that runs the advanced searches ShowApp conducts to identify events that each user will find interesting. This algorithm is calculated based on interests, subscriptions, friends’ recommendations and other preferences. Apart from those criteria, the application also takes into consideration the geolocation of its owner, showing events within twenty-five kilometres anywhere in the world.

ShowApp isn’t just made to receive information, though. Users can create events that range from small private parties to huge public events, sharing news about them on any social network, while housing discussions of the event, as well as pictures and videos from them, in one convenient location. The result is that ShowApp serves as an archive which allows users to analyse an event’s history, review the success of the event in real-time, and take steps to build on those lessons later.

ShowApp is meant to be a one-stop shop for anything and everything event-related. To achieve that, whenever an event requires the buying of tickets, ShowApp links users directly to the website where they can be purchased. In the future, Magora plans to integrate its own ticket checkout into the app.
