AOC Empowers Two 24″Gaming Monitors with QHD Resolution

Both the AGON AG241QG and AGON AG241QX feature an ultra-fast TN panel with
1 ms response time and 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution

Amsterdam, Netherlands – 18 July 2016 – AOC, one of the top global brands in the display market, introduces the first 24″ gaming monitors from their premium AGON series with QHD resolution. While the AG241QG comes with 165 Hz, NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and NVIDIA ULMB, the AG241QX differentiates itself by having 144 Hz and Adaptive-Sync technology. In addition to the 1 ms response time, these features enable both monitors to race through all games without stutter, screen tearing and motion blur. Therefore, both models are clearly aimed at enthusiastic and highly competitive gamers, fulfilling their demand to always grind on the edge of what’s humanly possible.

A variety of comfort features contribute to the premium grade of the AGON gaming monitors. Thanks to the AOC Ergo Dial Base of the AG241QG and AG241QX, users can always adjust their screen to their personal needs to ensure enduring stamina for long gaming sessions. These functions are height-adjustment, combined with a scale to set the preferred level, as well as tilt and swivel options.

Comfort for the eyes is just as important for outlasting the competition. That is why AOC’s Flicker-free Technology, which is present in both the AG241QG and AG241QX, induces low flicker to reduce eye discomfort and fatigue. The Adaptive-Sync model goes even further with its Low Blue Light mode, reducing adverse short wavelength blue light without sacrificing colour quality.

Additional powerful gaming features of the AG241QX are the AOC Low Input Lag, AOC Shadow Control and the AOC Game Mode Presets on the special KeyPad. While the low input lag makes sure gamers’ commands are executed without delay, the AOC Shadow Control provides quick contrast adjustment for a better view of pinpointed areas, not jeopardising the already well-balanced screen areas. The AOC Settings KeyPad is perfect for comfortably switching between various image settings. Saving presets and instantly activating them when needed has never been easier.

The AOC AGON AG241QX will be available in August 2016 for an MSRP of £389 and the AOC AGON AG241QG for an MSRP of £519in September 2016.
