Information Workbench and eCloudManager 7.0 Are Now Available
fluidOps today released version 7 of its Smart Data Platform Information Workbench™ and cloud management app eCloudManager™. This release, which incorporates multiple client requests, has a stronger focus on hybrid cloud scenarios and sets the cornerstone for the future development of the fluidOps product portfolio:Cornerstone for hybrid cloud strategies
Users now visualize cloud service usage on VMware vCloud® Air™, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. fluidOps has thereby set the cornerstone to further develop its hybrid cloud strategy. The focus on automation, administration and Cloud as a Service in the basic hybrid cloud package from fluidOps will continue to grow in future releases.
Provisioning services through virtual marketplaces
fluidOps has generated a multifaceted ecosystem for exchanging and consuming products and services. Using the new marketplace functionality, service providers deliver their offerings through a cloud platform designed to manage complex business and commercial relationships with 100% cost control.
New portal extension for end users
End users profit from the new portal extension, which can be quickly adapted to the requirements and design of each client. It offers role-based access, which can be even restricted to authorized devices. The portal extension supports community and BYOD initiatives. End users require no special IT skills to access consume services that utilize data center capacities.
Optimized user interface
Various optimizations to the user interface make working with semantic technologies easier than ever. Overview pages containing information tiles provide fast insights. Quick-jump navigations direct users to detailed pages, which are logically arranged into sections. Table filters and other detailed improvements have been added to the user interface.
