TeleMental Health Institute Forms Strategic Alliance with American Mental Health Counselors Association to Train Mental Health Counselors in Distance Counseling

11 June 2016, San Diego, CA The TeleMental Health Institute (TMHI) is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA). By combining AMCHA’s expertise in offering advocacy, collaboration, and continuing education in the field of mental health counseling with professional training from TMHI, AMHCA is bringing the best of all worlds to providers who want to leverage the power of technology to expand their services while assuring best practices.

Through an affiliation with TMHI, AMCHA is encouraging its members to obtain professional training from the industry’s leader, and doing its part to curb the irresponsible practices by professionals who might not be aware of professional and ethical guidelines to providing distance counseling.
