Stockholm/Amsterdam, 19 December 2007 - LBI International AB ("LBi"), the leading international full service digital agency, has acquired Iven & Hillmann GmbH & Co. KG and Iven & Hillmann Verwaltungs GmbH in Berlin, Germany ("I&H). I&H is one of the leading online marketing agencies in Germany, specializing in search engine marketing (SEM) and affiliate marketing.LBi CEO Robert Pickering states, "I&H is a leading interactive marketing company in Germany and strategically deepens our service offering geographically and in digital search related services. We expect rapid growth in the search engine marketing field which is still highly fragmented. Furthermore, I&H´s activities will support us in offering our blue chip clients full service".
Arend Lars Iven, CEO and one of the founders states, "We are excited to be joining LBi at a stage when I&H is poised for greater growth in Germany and abroad. LBi´s international footprint, portfolio of multinational clients and its entrepreneurial culture are all factors for us to join the company".
I&H expects revenue to exceed EUR 11 million for the full year 2007. The agency is located in Berlin and has approximately 22 employees.
The total purchase price will be determined on an earn-out arrangement. LBi expects this acquisition to be EBITDA and earnings accretive with immediate effect.
