(openPR) - PLANO, TEXAS – December 17, 2007 – The Texas Clinic at Prestonwood (TTCAP), a new medical facility that promises to combine some of North Texas’ most advanced healthcare technology with a carefully chosen and sophisticated group of medical practices, has opened its doors to the public. Located at Plano Parkway and Marsh Lane in Plano, the new facility’s first practice group, Sleep Healers Sleep Diagnostics, recently welcomed patients to its resort-quality sleep labs. The practices are expected to open on a staggered basis through early next year, with several openings projected through the end of 2007. In the meantime, final testing and calibration is underway on North Texas’ first Siemens 128-slice dual source CT scanner and first Varian Trilogy Linear Accelerator with on-board CT and x-ray imaging. These cutting edge diagnostic and treatment tools will be found at the Prestonwood Imaging Center and Verity Radiation Therapy Center, respectively, and are two of the reasons why The Texas Clinic at Prestonwood is expected to attract patients from around the region.
