Indian Scout Bobber rear fender kit for tires up to 200 mm

D-Breisach a.R., 22nd Feb 2024 For a few years, WUNDERKIND-Custom has been developing rear fender conversions as ready-to-fit kits for various motorcycle models. Meanwhile, the kit for Indian Scout Bobber models was recently extended with components that are adapted to wider rear tires: The new version is now available for tires with a width of up to 200 mm.
"More and more motorcyclists are choosing to replace their standard rear tire with a wider model in order to benefit from the advantages of improved stability and a more robust look. The need for a suitable rear fender goes hand in hand with this. However, ergonomics and aesthetics are always important aspects in our development work. It therefore made sense to utilize the experience gained from the existing rear fender conversion kits. That's why we have also added stylish support struts with integrated LEDs and an adjustable comfort seat to the new mudguard for wide tires. If you want, you can also purchase a side license plate holder in a matching design. Or even other matching custom parts that make the motorcycle look like a single piece after the conversion," reports Managing Director Christian Mehlhorn.
The rear fender is shortened and unpainted. It is made of sturdy sheet steel and is attached to the existing mounting points on the swingarm. The struts are shaped in such a way that they provide a stable support for the shortened sheet metal. 3D-milled housings are integrated at the upper end of the struts which are fitted with LED indicators/rear lights. The light units are E-approved and their cables are routed invisibly down to the swingarm in the retaining struts. In addition to a tidy appearance, this also protects the cables from damage.
The shape and position of the bobber seat can favor a relaxed riding style. The distance to the tank is adjustable: the position of the seat can be adjusted backwards by approx. 4.5 cm, so that the conversion allows the seat position to be individually adjusted. It is approx. 4 cm wider than the original, resulting in a total seat width of approx. 26 cm. The comfort seat has black diamond quilting with a mesh insert and a discreet WUNDERKIND-Custom emblem at the rear. The seat height is approx. 70 cm. Good to know: the seat holder, battery compartment/frame cover and seat plate are all made of robust materials and are finished in black.

As usual, all accessories have been developed in-house, manufactured from high quality and are tested internally to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.
