Munich, December 06, 2007 - The Galileo Group AG, a leading provider of software solutions for the application and transport management of SAP® products, has assisted its partner CollabNet Inc to achieve an outstanding rating in iX Study of collaboration software - released in June 2007 - in the sphere of software development and distribution based onf SAP’s Netweaver® platform.
This recent survey describes significant advances in association with the CollabNet Enterprise Edition in particular for distributed development environments using heterogeneous technologies, i.e. the classic client/server world and SAP® technologies. The study reports that in this respect Conigma™ permits the "integration of Change Requests for SAP Netweaver® in the principles of the CollabNet world". Tickets, Change Requests and similar artifacts are displayed by Conigma™ in the SAPgui and can be linked simultaneously with changes in the ABAP section and in the Java-based section of SAP Netweaver®, to ensure that defined IT processes are adhered to. "This consequently forms the foundation for an integrated, automated distribution of SAP configurations," continues the study.
