BDMO's BluSky Pack
The internationally operating packaging specialist BDMO Group, acknowledged for its innovative carton packaging solutions since many years, presents a packaging alternative to the Home Entertainment industry taking the actual discussion about climate protection in full account.
In Home Entertainment millions of plastic boxes are annually manufactured for CDs and DVDs requesting an extremely high consumption of energy and fossil fuel. Additionally they cause big problems in their final disposal. With reference to the actually burning discussion about environmental protection it was for BDMO’s CEO, Geert Casselman, and his BDMO-Team a deep concern to present an alternative meeting the demands of this industry in full. Additionally, a replacement was looked for, which expresses this industry’s sense of responsibility for the environment. The result is the BluSky PACK, completely based on environmentally friendly materials.
In its basic form commonly known as Digipack, the BluSky PACK takes not only advantage of an especially environmental friendly carton, but the tray, the part fixing the disc, is completely manufactured in natural materials as well. Therefore, the BluSky PACK can be recycled in full, which means that on all manufacturing levels a big amount of energy is saved and it represents a packaging alternative addressing not only those environmentally orientated customers, but all consumers, too. The BluSky PACK is immediately available for CD and DVD formats.
The BluSky PACK comprises high additional value being attractive for customers and consumers and is again a significant new evidence for BDMO’s innovative power meeting the requests of the future.
