Dallas, Texas – November 27, 2007 — PMForum, Inc. announced today that Randall Englund, author of several project management books and former senior project manager for Hewlett Packard (HP) company, has joined the PM AmbassadorsTM Speakers Bureau recently created by PMForum. Mr. Englund is a well known project management consultant and trainer in California, and one of the world’s leading experts in the field of project management for technology-based organizations. PMForum announced the formation of the PM Ambassadors™ Speakers Bureau in June 2007.

Randall (Randy) Englund is currently an executive consultant for the Englund Project Management Consultancy and is a Professional Associate for the Stanford Advanced Project Management (SAPM) program, specializing in converting strategy into action and effective project management offices. He spent 22 years at Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company, where he was a senior project manager and part of the corporate Project Management Initiative for continuous improvement of project management across the company. At HP he was also a program manager in high tech new product development. Previously he conducted projects for General Electric Medical Systems for 10 years.
Mr. Englund is co-author of the recently published book on Project Sponsorship: Achieving Management Commitment for Project Success, and of Creating the Project Office: a Manager’s Guide to Leading Organizational Change, and Creating an Environment for Successful Projects (Second Edition). He was a contributor for the AMA Handbook of Project Management: Second Edition, and has published articles on project management in various magazines. Randy Englund has an MBA in management from San Francisco State University and a BS in electrical engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is New Product Development Professional (NPDP) certified and a Certified Business Manager (CBM).
