Billa, remake of the yester year Billa which starred Superstar Rajinikanth will be released next month. The movie directed by Vishnu Vardan has Ultimate star Ajith playing the title role along with the hottest actresses down south, Nayantara and Namitha by his side.
The music release of this film was a befitting prelude to this stylish extravaganza. The first audio CD of Billa was released by Rajinikanth on November 19th in a very quiet get together. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this film. The six scintillating tracks are pure delight to the ears. Two songs from the original, ‘My name is Billa’ and ‘Vethalaiye Potendi’ have been remixed. Yuvan has managed to keep M.S.Viswanathans flavour of the songs and yet given it a modern feel. Pa.Vijay’s lyrics are fun and youthful.
The music of the film, preceded by the trailer has created a lot of anticipation, curiosity and expectation about the film.
