The TeleMental Health Institute’s Orlando MEETUP! will be held Thursday, April 7 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster, 729 Lee Road, Orlando, FL 32810, (407) 645-4443.

San Diego, California. On April 6 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 P, telemedicine professionals will have an opportunity to join Dr. Maheu, Executive Director of the TeleMental Health Institute at an eating establishment called Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster, 729 Lee Road, Orlando, FL 32810, (407) 645-4443. They will meet for a casual evening of frivolity, good food and camaraderie!

Dr. Maheu will be in Orlando to teach a pre-conference workshop addressing telemental health.

At the TMHI MEETUP!, professionals currently enrolled in TeleMental Health Institute (TMHI) training and other ACI telemedicine faculty will be able to enjoy a fine meal while interested stakeholders to earn more about technology and to network at the local level. Dr. Maheu states, “Everyone is welcome.”


Dr. Maheu is the Executive Director of the TeleMental Health Institute, a leader in telemental health, online counseling and online therapy. For more than 20 years, she has consulted with large health and mental health insurance companies, community clinics and centers, physician groups, universities, and independent practitioners. She not only is a strong proponent of online services, but has pioneered many efforts in support of telehealth since 1994. The TeleMental Health Institute is where behavioral professionals earn continuing education (CE) and continuing medical education (CME) in one of two Certificate Programs for telemental health. Dr. Maheu’s passion and focus have drawn a noted group of core and guest faculty members; over 3100 professionals from more than 39 countries for training. Her leadership at the Institute has inspired the development of more than 90 hours of instructional materials, all available online through a variety of desktop and mobile-compatible formats.
