ICON names Rainer Ackermann Chief Financial Officer

(openPR) - Karlsruhe/Santa Clara, September 30, 2005. ICON Supply Chain Management, a leading provider of collaborative supply chain management solutions, today announced the appointment of Dr. Rainer Ackermann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its worldwide operations.
As member of the executive management team, Dr. Ackermann is responsible for directing all facets of finance, administration, investor relations and legal functions.
Dr. Michael Keppler, CEO states: "We are pleased to be able to fill the CFO position with Rainer. He brings with him a broad range of experience and has significantly contributed to the success of ICON for a number of years”.
Rainer Ackermann joined ICON in 2002 as Independent Consultant in Germany and shortly thereafter assumed the role of Business Manager at ICON Inc. in Santa Clara, CA. Prior to ICON he worked in a multitude of international positions. He earned a degree in industrial engineering and a doctorate in economics from the Technical University of Berlin as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
