BFO PDF Library adds LiveConnect Support
Press release from: Big Faceless Organization
Big Faceless Organization (BFO), have released an update to their Java PDF Library and Java PDF Viewer.
Version 2.8.5 of the PDF Library includes the odd bug fix along with improvements for documents saved with Acrobat Reader Usage Rights. The Library can now read and write PDF documents without damaging these rights. A number of refinements have also been made to the PDF Viewer, which now supports LiveConnect for communication with JavaScript. Memory requirements have also been drastically reduced when displaying PDF’s containing very large or high resolution bitmap images. See the PDF Viewer Applet API (bfo.co.uk/products/pdf/docs/api/) for more details.
There’s also a new release for the Big Faceless Report Generator, primarily to take advantage of the fixes made to the PDF Library, along with some custom filter improvements. The Report Generator is built on version 2.8.5 of the PDF Library and version 1.1.6 of the Graph Library.
