(openPR) - Rockville, MD. Federal contracts intelligence provider fedXccel is reporting that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award up to ten (10) contract awards for Information Technology (IT) Support Services as Total Setaside for Small Businesses. The applicable size standard is $23,000,000 in annual receipts. The contracts awarded will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts utilizing fixed hourly labor rates with provisions for the award of future task orders that may consist of multiple contract types.
fedXccel’s Federal Research Team has released a handy Opportunity Capture Report to help qualified Federal Information Technology (IT) Contractors position their team for a successful bid on the $175 million IT Support Services Contract (ITOC).
“The Opportunity Capture report provides actionable intelligence on teaming partners, labor rates and FBI’s IT environment,” said fedXccel chief Gaurav “GP” Pal. “It is critical for contractors looking to succeed to be well armed with information especially if they have not done business with the FBI before.”
The RFP document was expected to be released on Oct 22, 2007 but it hasn’t become public as yet.
“Since the actual solicitation has not been issued yet, there is still time for interested small businesses to explore teaming relationships and position themselves for a bid.” said Pal.
fedXccel has posted free sample report on its fedXccel website (www.fedxccel.com).
