Munich, July 7, 2015 - Available immediately is the new release from Xeditor. The new 2.4 version with improved and extended functions as well as an optimized performance.
With the new update Xeditor guarantees fluent editing of large documents with more than 50MB and more than 1000 pages. A new offline editing possibility offers authors the ability to store documents without an Internet connection temporarily and synchronize with the server as soon as the on-line connection is restored. In addition, there was an improvement for the handling of an even more intuitive writing process. External texts or elements can be inserted directly via Copy & Paste and be validated. A new special character table allows the access to all characters of the UTF-8 character set.

With Xeditor, the web-based WYSIWYG editor, structured documents can be created without any technical knowledge. The Editor has an intuitive user interface and is similar to Word. Furthermore, it is easy to integrate into other systems like CMS, PIM, etc.
