Press release from: Talesun Solar Germany GmbH

/ PR Agency: NetPress GmbH & Co.KG
Munich, 09th June 2015: Zhongli Talesun Solar, a leading international manufacturer of high quality solar modules and cells, is among the top 10 companies in Bloomberg's Tier 1 list of PV module manufacturers. The Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) rankings include producers who, in addition to possessing a given production capacity, can also display a substantial history of completed PV projects. An important component of the ranking system is the bankability of the respective producers.

The Talesun ranking relates to figures for the calendar year 2014. The BNEF evaluation is based on completed photovoltaic projects; the corresponding database collated information on almost 5,000 financed projects across the globe. Further Tier 1 criteria include cooperation with market developers, investors and EPC companies. The aim of the tiering system is to raise the level of transparency in the relatively heterogeneous market for photovoltaic modules.

A successful project business
"Zhongli Talesun is currently on a very good path worldwide and we're taking big steps forward," says Arthur Chien, Vice President at Talesun Energy. "The inclusion in Bloomberg New Energy Finance's Tier 1 list underlines this fact, particularly as we have gone straight into the top ten. In terms of our projects and, above all, for our investors, this equates to; verifiable safety and reliability, delivery dependability, long-term cooperation and ultimately, continuity.“ The company is well placed to benefit from the trend that is seeing institutional investors increasingly placing value on sustainability in their investment decisions, both in terms of generating strong returns, but also, as has once again been shown, in seeking low risk.

The company's positive development is also reflected in its financial results: On the back of profitable years in 2012 and 2013, Zhongli Talesun again recorded profits in 2014. In addition to module sales, the project business provided a significant contribution to the company's success. In 2014 Talesun was listed among the ten largest project companies worldwide.

Talesun is an internationally operating premium producer of solar modules and cells for the private and industrial sectors. The company's 210,000m², fully automated production plant in the Chinese province of Jiangsu reaches a production capacity of 2 GW. Talesun has subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore, Munich and San Jose. More information under: www.talesun-eu.com and www.talesunenergy.com.
