(openPR) - In many countries the subject hyperhidrosis is still treated as a taboo subject. However, there are a lot of therapeutic treatments available, which can be of help in different hyerhidrosis stages. These treatments depend on the kind and the intensity of the hyperhidrosis.

From the clinical point-of-view the orientation of the different therapies depends unquestionably on where the sweating is located, whether the sweating occurs in the hands, the feet, the forehead, the neck, the shoulders or at the entire body (generalized hyperhidrosis). According to the phenomena and the cause (psychical or physical) a systemic, a physical, a psychotherapeutic or as a last resort, a surgery can be considered.

The advisory manual “Help! I’m sweating” written by Dietmar Stattkus provides information on hyperhidrosis regarding these phenomena, the causes and the different kind of therapies available. This advisory manual explains the hyperhidrosis as well as the smell when sweating. The book interacts with the information provided on the author’s website at www.sweating-help.com.

Before a person decides to follow through with the appropriate treatment he/she should definitely collect information regarding the treatments as well as the illness. The rule should be: first collect information then surgery!
