AOC to Throw the Spotlight on Innovative Displays at GITEX Technology Week 2014

The much-acclaimed AOC G2460PG NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor will be showcased at the event to cement AOC's position as a leading gaming monitor expert. The AOC G2460PG display combines stylish design with high-performance features that will impress the most demanding gamers. The monitor's ergonomic stand offers hours of viewing or gaming comfort, allowing users to adjust the height, tilt and swivel, as well as pivot into portrait mode.
"From first-person shooters to high-speed racing games, you’ll never miss out on the action with 1 ms response time for blur-free images," explained Sebastian. "This 24-inch display with Full HD resolution offers sharp, stunning picture quality with typical 1000:1 contrast ratios. The integrated DisplayPort connector and five USB hubs are ideal for hooking up a range of devices and peripherals, plus USB 3.0 technology offers super-speed charging and data transfer."
At the event, AOC will also show off its ultra-high definition monitor, the U2868. With four times the resolution of Full HD, 1ms response times and 60 Hz refresh rates, this 28-inch 4K Ultra HD monitor is in a class of its own. "The speed and clarity make it perfect for industries like gaming, while the 1.07 billion colors will impress creative professionals. Picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture mode boost productivity and the 3-watt speakers offer richer sound. Connect devices with DisplayPort and USB 3.0, plus MHL over HDMI to mirror mobile content. At home or at work, this monitor is made for users who demand the best," added Sebastian.
In addition, AOC's U3477 display will also share the spotlight at the event. The U3477 is a 34-inch WQHD monitor and offers a 21:9 aspect ratio, in addition to providing an UltraWide 3440-by-1440 resolution. It also comes with built-in 7-watt speakers and 1.07 billion colors to complete the cinematic experience. The extra space lets users split their screen into multiple panes for increased efficiency. Users can also use the picture-by-picture mode to display a spreadsheet and financial software or picture-in-picture to watch a movie while users chat with a friend.
AOC will also be showcasing its range of tablets, which are powered by Android operating system. The company’s range of ultraportable tablets includes devices that come in three screen sizes – 6-inches phablet, 7-inches, and 8-inches. The devices come with TFT Capacitive LCD and are powered by either Dual or Quad Core processors. In addition, the tablets come with other features such as a microSD card slot, support for Wi-Fi, mini-HDMI ports, micro-USB ports, and so on.
The company will also showcase its Windows 8 and Android-based touch displays, and Miracast displays for wireless mobile connectivity, at GITEX Technology Week 2014. In particular, the AOC A2272PW4T is a Smart All-in-One monitor running on the Android 4.1 operating system. With this innovative 54.6 cm (21.5”) model, users can surf the internet, stay in touch with friends and family via e-mail or social networks or enjoy games and multimedia contents. The display offers a Full HD resolution, 250 cd/m² luminosity and an ultra-short response time of only 2 ms.
