Program for OpenNebula Conf 2014 determined
Nuremberg 2014, August 11th
After last year’s successful debut with participants from 12 countries, the conference has a promising program again.
Armin Deliomini from Runtastic will talk about his experiences gained in one year of productive service with OpenNebula. While the company started with commercial software, it meanwhile uses open source products only and runs an infrastructure for the Runtastic ecosystem with more than 40,000,000 registered users.
David Lutterkort from Puppet Labs with his talk “Puppet and OpenNebula“ will cover the advantages of the interplay between both solutions, while Stefan Koomann (BIT B.V.) will share practical tips from his deployment experiences with OpenNebula.
Furthermore, Alberto Zuin (Moyd.co LTD), Tim Verhoeven and many more are invited speakers.
The strictly limited tickets for this event are available in two types of packages – GOLD Package (including accommodation) and SILVER package (excluding accommodation). Both packages include the participation in a tutorial or hacking workshop on the first conference.
The only conference about OpenNebula worldwide is the result of a constant demand for an effective cloud solution. Since the beginning of the research project in 2005, OpenNebula has become a popular open source solution for data center virtualization. Based on XEN, KVM and VMWare, the cloud platform differs from others by supporting a variety of independent standards. Its focus on interoperability allows a simple integration and high flexibility.
