(openPR) - After several years of membership in the Windows Embedded Partner Program, Garz & Fricke has been elevated to Gold-Level membership in the System Integrator category. The honor acknowledges their commitment to adapting their embedded systems solutions to Windows CE, and with direct access to the Windows CE source text offers an even better agreement between hardware and software in the future.
Hamburg, October 5, 2005: Garz & Fricke GmbH, manufacturer and specialist in 32-bit embedded systems, has become a select Gold-Level member of Microsoft's Windows Embedded Partner Program (MSWEP). Apart from Garz & Fricke, there are just seven other system integrators in Europe that hold this distinction.
The Gold-Level membership makes it easier for customers to find companies that have a proven record of outstanding performance in the development and implementation of Windows-based solutions. The WEP Gold Level identifies "best of bread".
Garz & Fricke's membership in the exclusive and worldwide WEP Gold Partner Program is a result of a long-term, fruitful collaboration. During that time, Garz & Fricke was able to acquire extensive know-how in the development of real-time applications based on Windows CE. All product lines within the business division for 32-bit processor modules are Windows CE compatible. So-called Board Support Packages (BSPs) are available, a package of libraries and drivers that provide an abstraction of the hardware layer to the greatest possible extent and thus facilitate effective development of reliable applications based on Windows CE.
With the Gold-Level member distinction, collaboration between Microsoft and Garz & Fricke will further intensify in the future, benefiting the customers above all. In the future, Garz & Fricke products can be adapted to the extensive functions of Windows CE and associated development environments even more thoroughly and quickly.
"The designation as a Windows Embedded Gold Partner is an honor for us and validates our competence," explains Claus Rohde, Head of Development at Garz & Fricke. "Our goal is to support our customers through our extensive know-how and our commitment in developing Windows-based applications tailored for their specific needs. An investment in our high-performance technology results in lower system costs while at the same time greater reliability."
