• arvato Systems wins Process Solution Award 2014 for project with Teckentrup GmbH & Co. KG
• BIC Platform® modeling tool supported as part of SAP launch

Gütersloh (a), Process Solutions Day is the largest conference for software-supported business process management solutions (BPM) in the German speaking countries. During the event, which took place on May 13-14 in Cologne, arvato Systems GmbH received an award from the Gesellschaft für Organisation e.V. for a joint project with Teckentrup GmbH & Co. KG. The jury awarded the Process Solution Award for the project and described it as the "most innovative and exemplary" in the "workflow" category.

Dr. Oliver Becker, Director Enterprise Solutions at arvato Systems, was delighted about the award: "Our BIC Platform® was part of the SAP launch at Teckentrup. At the event we showed the kind of positive effect that this platform has on the SAP implementation and the company's business processes. We are especially honored to have received an award for this project."

Teckentrup GmbH & Co. KG is among the leading manufacturers of doors, garage doors and industrial doors in Europe. "In global competition, we need to be able to respond quickly to market changes. In particular in the case of our SAP redesign project, we were able to save a significant amount in the upper six-figure range", explained Sandra Kresimann, IT Director and CIO for Teckentrup GmbH & Co. KG.

Process Solutions Day is the trade fair for the German speaking BPM world. It is organized by the Gesellschaft für Organisation e.V. (gfo) and was held for the 9th time in 2014. This year, twenty exhibitors provided information about the business and technical opportunities that business process management tools offer both today and in the future. They showed how businesses can profit from BPM tools: business processes are made more transparent, efficient, and cost-effective. Process monitoring in real time is possible.
