(openPR) - DALLAS – The nationally recognized Family Law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., is home to seven attorneys who earned spots on the 2007 Texas Super Lawyers list.
Included in the prestigious list are partners Mike McCurley, Richard R. Orsinger, Mary Johanna McCurley, Keith M. Nelson, R. Scott Downing and John E. Alexander. Each of the partners was recognized for their work in Family Law. Also honored was associate Brad M. LaMorgese, who was selected for his work in Appellate Law.
Three firm attorneys also were singled out for special honors. Mrs. McCurley was listed among the Top 50 women attorneys in Texas, and Mr. McCurley and Mr. Orsinger each were included among the state’s Top 100 lawyers.

The Super Lawyers list appears in the October 2007 issue of Texas Monthly magazine, as well as Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
Texas Super Lawyers selections are based on peer nominations made by more than 70,000 attorneys across Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers hand-picked by Super Lawyers editors made the final selections, and fewer than 5 percent of the attorneys in Texas were chosen for this honor.
Each of the firm’s attorneys honored on the Texas Super Lawyers list holds a membership in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Orsinger also is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
