Lüdenscheid, 21.09.07 - The Wireless LAN Printservers integrate printers with USB or Centronics ports in a network in the simplest manner, either wireless or with a cable. The small and compact Printservers are fitted with detachable antennas. Thanks to the simple, neutral design, they can blend into any office. The Web-based user interface for simple configuration and the simple Setup program makes fast installation possible even for inexperienced users.

The DIGITUS® Printservers conform to the Ethernet IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.11g/b standards for Wireless LAN and support 10/100 Mbps in Ethernet networks and up to 54 Mbps in wireless networks. The printer is connected directly through an USB 2.0 Type A port connection (DN-13014) or via a Centronics port (DN-13016). Compatible with Windows 95 / 98SE / ME / NT / 2000 / XP / 2003. Connection to the network is set up through a standard RJ45 port; detection in the network takes place automatically (Auto-MDI).

The DIGITUS® Printservers support the common protocols TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBEUI and Apple Talk as well as LPR, IPP, SMB/TCP. Raw Printing and Unix Logical Print. Peer-to-peer printing and server-based printing (Novell NetWare and Windows) is also supported. The DIGITUS® Printservers are rounded off by DHCP Server and Client protocol. All in all, this is in indispensable device in the SOHO network.
