The new feature “RouteBySender“ allows to deliver faxes of particular senders to suitable recipients automatically

serVonic released the new version of its unified messaging server solution: IXI-UMS 6.10 offers more comfort for the users as well as highly flexible user administration: Additional features for the service Fax improve the options for routing and printing, the archiving and the traceability of the delivery date. In the fields of Voice and Mobile, serVonic extended the TUI, which means Telephone User Interface. The newly implemented support of the standard E.164 simplifies the central use of IXI-UMS as well as the integration into modern PBX-variants. With the new Domino Connector, the administrator can administer the users in various data bases.

Additional Fax Features
The new feature “RouteBySender“ allows to deliver fax messages of particular senders to suitable recipients automatically. The sender number is searched for in the Meta Directory and the message is transferred to the e-mail address deposited there. For the automatic printing of unread faxes, various printers can be selected or assigned to particular fax recipients. A so-called “time-stamp” now can be sent along with inbound faxes: Every fax page contains the date of receipt and the exact time. As a result, the exact receipt date can be proven. The option to adopt the delivery report into the respective fax in PDF-format now can be configured more flexibly: The user can decide whether and how he wants to add the reception report or the delivery protocol. The adoption of the delivery report into the fax makes the assignment and the archiving of the messages much easier. In the latest version of IXI-UMS, the “call number suppression” can be selected in the configuration interface directly. This simplifies the sending of messages via a central IXI-UMS system: When a user, for example, sends a fax from his site via a central unified messaging server, the recipient can only see the fax sender address in the reception report. The actual subscriber number is suppressed.

TUI - Telephone User Interface for Voice and Mobile
In version 6.10, serVonic improved and extended the options for voice-driven user guidance on the phone. By means of TUI, the user can set up a personalized or individual voice box announcement at the telephone. The administrator can enable or disable certain TUI-menus. Via a button, he can generate a new user-PIN and send a welcome mail.

E.164 Support
In addition to the previous extension-based routing method, IXI-UMS now also supports the ITU-standard E.164. On the one hand, E.164 is used in companies with several sites and central IXI-UMS installation. On the other hand, the standard is applied in combination with hosted PBX’s, private cloud PBX’s as well as IP-based PBX’s such as Unify OpenScape Voice or IP-PBX’s from Cisco.

New Domino Connector
The Domino Connector in IXI-UMS Version 6.10 is provided with a new installation wizard. Due to the new flexible user administration, the administrator can manage the users in various data bases: Domino Names and Address Book, Active Directory or IXI User Management.

Prices and Availability
serVonic IXI-UMS in version 6.10 is available now at serVonic and sales partners for prices beginning at 650.00 Euro (plus legal VAT, if applicable). For further information, please refer to: www.servonic.com.
