Jeff Rasansky Recognized among 2007 Texas Super Lawyers

(openPR) - DALLAS – For the fifth consecutive year, Dallas Attorney Jeff Rasansky has earned a spot on the Texas Super Lawyers listing. In the October 2007 issue of Texas Monthly magazine, Mr. Rasansky is honored among the state’s top personal injury attorneys.
“My number one goal is to obtain justice for my clients when they have been injured by the misdeeds of others,” says Mr. Rasansky, founder of Dallas’ The Rasansky Law Firm. “I view awards such as this to be recognition of the good we have done for clients, rather than personal success.”
Super Lawyers selections are based on peer nominations made by more than 55,000 attorneys across the state. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers selected by Super Lawyers editors made the final selections, and less than 5 percent of the attorneys in Texas were chosen for this honor.
In addition to Texas Monthly magazine, the Super Lawyers list also appears in Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
The Super Lawyers honor is the latest in a string of accolades Mr. Rasansky has received in 2007. Earlier this year, he was named one of Dallas’ best lawyers by D Magazine, as well as one of the 500 Leading Plaintiffs' Attorneys in America by Lawdragon, a quarterly publication and online guide to the country's top lawyers. Additionally, Texas Lawyer newspaper previously has named him to its "40 Under 40" list of top young lawyers in the state.

After earning his law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1990, Mr. Rasansky joined a downtown Dallas firm where he learned the legal tactics used by large insurance companies, hospitals and nursing homes. In 1994, he formed The Rasansky Law Firm. Since then, his firm exclusively has represented individuals in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, products liability, overtime pay, and serious vehicle accidents.
