(openPR) - The Polish Government is going electronic and has published a tender regarding an electronic communication platform between government agencies and Polish businesses. This tender is open to all European IT companies. It is intended to make Polish businesses more competitive by enabling them to handle all government related paperwork electronically. By making use of 390 personal computers, 138 scanners and 62 servers in 36 major cities forms are to be made available and turned in electronically. This project is subsidized with 2.6 million Euros by the European Community. The bid is to be turned in until October 23rd. Other European IT-tenders can be found on www.ratiotrans.com with a short description of the project in English translation.
Through an innovative approach to translation translation costs and turnaround time can be cut by 50% compared with traditional approaches.
In traditional translation some software help is usually applied to support the translator and the workflow of the agency, but the translation itself is still considered as a single process taking place somewhere in the mind of the translator. At Ratiotrans.com translation is approached in a similar way Henry Ford and Ludwig Roselius approached the way of producing cars and coffee (Kaffee Hag) making them more affordable.
Higher productivity resulting in lower prices at a high level of quality is achieved because of the intelligent combination of existing technology and tools.
The founder of ratiotrans.com combines an affinity for foreign languages and a talent and passion for perfect and effective organization. Hape or Hans-Peter Etzold commands 7 languages and used to work as a project manager. The project he is most proud of involved moving a pharmaceutical factory in Poland.
It is his mission to connect people and overcoming barriers by providing more cost-effective and productive translation solutions. Etzold is Stuttgart (Germany)-based and has translated on behalf of the following clients: European Commission, Boing, EADS, RENFE, Fortis, General Motors.
