Wibu-Systems to exhibit versatile DRM solutions at CeBIT Asia 2007
Press release from: WIBU-SYSTEMS AG
(openPR) - Participation in the German Pavilion in Hall W5 Booth 5F51
The German manufacturer Wibu-Systems AG will exhibit its effective license management and copy protection solutions, for the protection of software, documents, media and authentication. They may be found at the German Pavilion in Hall W5, Booth 5F51, during the CeBIT Asia 2007, in Shanghai. The International World of IT will meet from October 10 to 13 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). In conjunction with the trade show, Wibu-Systems will host a workshop on October 11. All Chinese and International software vendors who wish to learn more about protecting digital rights from a group of famous speakers are invited to attend.
Companies, that want to protect their products from illegal reproduction or piracy, will find information at Wibu-Systems’ booth. In addition to software companies, manufacturers of industrial control equipment and machinery will find information on how to protect their products as well. All companies needing to find a flexible and feature rich license management system will be impressed with CodeMeter, a complete security system that works on Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Sun Solaris as well as on embedded operation systems like Windows CE.
Companies, needing to securely protect documents, will find SmartShelter a versatile and easy to implement solution. For example, if you need to protect training materials, price catalogues, service data or outlines, simply encrypt the files with the SmartShelter Wizard; then only the authorized person with the suitable USB hardware CmStick can view the encrypted documents. This technology can also be used in the multimedia area for protecting videos and audio files. For example, training videos and "eLearning" books can also be protected with SmartShelter.
Furthermore, the CodeMeter system can be used for secure authentication and can ship with a suite of personal security applications like the mobile password manager and the personal file vault.
Oliver Winzenried, C.E.O. and founder of Wibu-Systems AG, extended a personal invitation to the Wibu sponsored workshop with these comments: “With Professor Cao Zhaomin, of the University Jiatong in Shanghai, and Jörg Heil of Hartung Consult as speakers, those who attend our workshop will have a very exciting experience and will come away with many valuable tips for increasing their company’s revenue. In the development of our solutions, we participate in many developer programs, like the ones from AutoDesk, Apple, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft and Sun. So every customer benefits from our know-how and can implement a secure protection with less effort. This workshop will provide a good overview about protection mechanisms and how a company might, in a very short time, increase their customer base through the innovative license models our products offer. All attendees of CeBit Asia as well as those attending the simultaneously held trade shows, PTC and CeMAT, are invited to our workshop.”
