A worthy winner: Cultuzz receives “Innovation Award” at ITB

“This will take pride of place in our office!” With these words Ted Montreal, Director of Sales and Marketing at Cultuzz, accepted the A&O Hotels/Hostels “Innovation Award”. The prize was awarded in Berlin as part of ITB 2014, which also proved to be exceptionally successful in many other ways for the Berlin-based company.

“Through clever product placements on particularly profitable E-commerce days, A&O and Cultuzz were able to earn around a million Euros in 2013 with the A&O TO GO Blue and A&O TO GO Orange gift vouchers. We are therefore delighted to recognise this outstanding sales performance with this year’s A&O Innovation Award”, declared Oliver Winter, General Manager of A&O, as he presented the award. Ted Montreal and his CultBay team were equally delighted to accept the prize.

Equally, in all other respects there was a palpable sense of satisfaction on the Cultuzz stand - and for good reason, as Montreal explained: “In all areas of our business – CultBay, CultSwitch and CultBooking – we were able to generate lots of interest, make new contacts and forge new deals.” Our new colleagues from Recommended Hotels Ltd. – which joined the Cultuzz family in January – and Cultuzz UK also found it a very rewarding experience.

This is just one of the many reasons why employees of the leading provider of software and technology solutions for the tourism industry have already put the next ITB date firmly in their diaries.
