(openPR) - FasTracKids Enrichment CenterSM of San Diego Counties celebrate Jumpstart’s Read for the Record, a national campaign to engage hundreds of thousands of children and adults in breaking the world record for the most children reading the same book on the same day. FasTracKids in Carmel Valley, La Mesa and Tierrasanta will open their doors on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 to host the community in a fun-filled, free event to include a group reading event for children and their families. Children can participate in interactive craft and art activities to support the book chosen, The Story of Ferdinand. Named one of the “100 Best Books for Children,” The Story of Ferdinand is about a bull who would rather sit and smell the flowers than enter the bullfighting ring like his peers.
