Press release from: NetModule AG

/ PR Agency: PR-Agency Lorenzoni, Ltd.
Bern/Niederwangen, 29 January 2014 – At embedded world 2014 NetModule will present its new offerings for embedded engineering services (hall 4/370). For the rapid prototyping and development of Ethernet based applications a ZE7000 Zynq reference platform is shown, which is based on the Xilinx ZYNQ All Programmable SoC. Its ARM-based dual-core platform tightly is coupled to the Xilinx Series 7 FPGA family, which offers unprecedented power and flexibility.
NetModule’s new PRP software drivers support developers to reliably integrate the IEC62439 PRP protocol into embedded devices. Modular constructed FPGA-IP-cores for PRP/HSR supporting IEEE1588 target the integration of the protocol into customer specific FPGA designs. Being one of the pioneers, NetModule offers support for the complete product development and testing cycle of PRP/HSR based devices, from one single source.
NetModule’s Embedded Linux platform integrated in a Yocto framework allows development engineers to combine the free access to Open Source software with a secure professional support.
To extend existing devices with wireless functionality NetModule provides an Embedded Wireless Framework with WLAN & wireless G4 technology, for which various hard- and software modules are offered.
