Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 19 December, 2013: Cambium Networks, a global leading provider of wireless broadband solutions, together with its preferred distributor partner, Prologix Distribution, is set to hold its largest Middle East end-user event in Dubai on 22 January, 2014. It is expected that over 200 C-level, high profile delegates from the region's leading government and private sector institutions will be in attendance. The mega-event christened as 'Connect the Unconnected', will be hosted by Mr. Atul Bhatnagar, President and CEO of Cambium Networks. This event focusing on wireless networks is the first of its kind in the Middle East and is expected to attract key customers like wireless ISPs, mobile service providers, system integrators, law enforcement agencies, defense and security and oil and gas organizations from across the GCC and African nations.

The Middle East and Africa (MEA) with its booming telecom and communications sectors is emerging as a key market for Cambium Networks. Atul Bhatnagar said, “We have big plans for the MEA and are eager to make our customers and partners aware of our deep interest in this market. Prologix with its excellent technical capabilities and support is spearheading our efforts in this region and ensuring top quality through the value chain. Together, we have determined a comprehensive strategy to deliver the best solutions, services and support and we will unveil this to the attendees.”

Mr. Bhatnagar will be accompanied by his top executive team from Cambium and his Prologix counterparts. Speakers at the event include Mr. Bhatnagar who will brief the customers on the plans Cambium has embarked upon to help develop communications networks that overcome the logistic, financial and complexity challenges that organizations in the MEA face. Martin de la Serna, Vice President, EMEA, of Cambium Networks, will address the Vertical Market Solutions. Mr. Sarwan Singh, Managing Director and Mr. Aditya Sahaya, Director- Business Development at Prologix will deliver a welcome note and speak about Prologix’s association with Cambium in the region.

The year 2013 has been one of high intensity and acceleration at Cambium Networks with the launch of three of their new breakthrough product platforms - PMP 450, ePMP and PTP 650. These new products are already creating ripples and generating unprecedented curiosity in the world of wireless broadband. The main mission behind the January event will be to keep up this momentum in the upcoming year through a one-to-one connection with representatives from prominent wireless broadband customers.

“We recently launched two revolutionary wireless solutions from Cambium- the ePMP remote connectivity platform and the high power PTP650 point-to-point system- that have already generated waves in the market. Our customers are amazed by the performance of these solutions and equally impressed by their cost-effectiveness. Through our partnership with Cambium, we offer what the industry has been waiting anxiously waiting for,” said Sarwan Singh.

PTP 650 is a highly capable wireless connectivity product that can deliver up to 99.999% availability in virtually any environment, including non-line-of-sight, long-distance line-of-sight, high interference, over water and desert, and through extreme weather conditions. Its features such as 27 dBm output power, 4.9-6.05 GHz wide band, 450 Mbps throughput and up to 200 km LOS range, help address the gap in the current wireless solutions market.

For point-to-multipoint deployments, the Cambium ePMP solution delivers industry leading throughput at over 200 Mbps and employs intelligent bandwidth algorithms. With it, Prologix can meet the connectivity requirements for rural, municipal, satellite office, primary and redundant connectivity; video surveillance backhaul; device and site monitoring; LAN extension; and leased line replacement. Both solutions will be displayed and demonstrated at the event.

Also part of the event will be live customer testimonials, which include speakers from the enterprises and government who for long have been using the Cambium Network technologies. They will reveal to the gathering how the technologies have helped them overcome their business challenges and leverage their resources.

Speeds are generally comparable to DSL and cable modem. An external antenna is usually required." Scope
