The Willow Foundation has announced plans for the fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament at Crosswinds Golf and Country Club in Burlington Ontario.

This event will be held the afternoon of Sept. 21st, 2007. Proceeds from the golf tournament will help produce funds for The Willow Foundation which is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of seniors and disabled adults in Halton. This includes the residents of Post Inn Village Long Term Care in Oakville, Creek Way Village Long Term Care in Burlington, Allendale Long Term Care in Milton and clients of our Adult Day Programs.
In addition to participating as a golfer, there are also sponsorship opportunities that range from Hole Sponsor, Lunch Sponsor, Hole-in-One and Tournament Sponsor.

The tournament will be followed by an evening dinner and prizes, where the guest speaker will be Regional Chairman Gary Carr. This is a wonderful opportunity for the region of Halton and area to enjoy an afternoon of golf, a great meal whilst supporting a growing population of Halton Seniors. There's no reason for anyone to feel guilty about taking the afternoon off to play. By taking part in the tournament, participants are both helping seniors of Halton and networking with business associates. This fundraising event will help to further the fulfillment of The Willow Foundation’s mission of “Enhancing the quality of life of seniors and disabled adults in Halton Region"
"Events such as this are only possible through the participation and sponsorship of generous individuals and organizations," said Greg Davis who is one of the Directors of the Willow Foundation. "The individual participant fee of $225 includes greens fees, cart, lunch, dinner and prizes. For $60, non-golfers will be able to purchase tickets in advance for the dinner."

The Willow Foundation is an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and disabled adults in Halton Region.
Major sponsors for the Golf Tournament, as of July 30th, 2006 include Ballantry Homes, MEDIchair, Dundee Wealth Management, RBC, ReMax, Ford, Annex Graphics.
