Adelphi Awards Garden City High School Students Prize for Leadership
On September 20, 2013, Adelphi University held its annual Prize for Leadership Ceremony at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center. The 12 high school students selected for the award demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and leadership as club officers, athletes, tutors, volunteers, and performers. The students’ letters of recommendation further attested to their abilities and dedication as both students and citizens. Recipients were granted a $1,000 stipend, six university credits of their choice, and a commemorative clock.
