(openPR) - ZAANDAM, THE NETHERLANDS (September 3, 2007) — It’s no secret in the publishing world that WoodWing Software is one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the industry. And now, the company’s rapid growth is getting some impressive attention at home.
The Dutch arm of Deloitte, the financial services giant, is again sponsoring a contest called the Technology Fast 50, spotlighting the 50 companies in the Netherlands with the highest growth rate. Not surprisingly, WoodWing is one of this year’s nominees.
“This really helps put our growth into perspective,” said Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software. “We obviously knew that we were experiencing a tremendous amount of growth, and now we can see that we’re one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the Netherlands. It’s a nice honor, to be nominated as one of the Technology Fast 50, and what it shows is that publishers around the world are really taking notice of what we have to offer.”
To be eligible for Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 contest, a company must be a technology firm at least five years old with a strong research-and-development base, and must have its headquarters in the Netherlands. A company also must have a growth rate of at least 400 percent over the last five years.
The winner of the Technology Fast 50 will be announced on Sept. 27. Regardless of the outcome, it’s a certainty that WoodWing’s growth won’t be slowing anytime soon.
“What matters most is that our customers have faith in us,” Schut said. “That’s the ultimate compliment. Every single day, we’re going to enhance and expand what we have to offer, and continue to offer the most progressive solutions on the market.”
