Unicon Software GmbH launches improved software versions of Scout Enterprise and eLux™
eLux™ RP 4.2.0 and Scout Enterprise 13.3.0 offer effective and economical thin client computing.
The latest functionality, executing a BIOS update and changing BIOS settings enables you to apply the latest BIOS functionalities and settings to the thin clients remotely. It is not necessary that the administrator has to update or to check every single thin client locally. Therefore, immense advantages in costs and resources are created. As a result, these advantages in cost reductions and saving of time have a positive effect on all: end customers, outsourcing partners as well as on the hardware manufacturers. Profit from the latest efficient functionalities of Scout Enterprise and eLux™ in combination with the use of hardware from Unicon Software' s long-term OEM partners like Fujitsu Technology Solutions or Hewlett-Packard. Once again, the total performance of the management solution Scout Enterprise has been increased due to the integration of multiple, parallel connected data channels for a quicker data transfer between Scout Database and the Scout Server. This is an enormous improvement in performance without the need of a costly hardware upgrade!
With this software release of eLux™ RP 4.2.0 the latest Citrix® HDX™ 1.4 Real Time Optimization Pack for Microsoft® Lync version 2010 is now integrated. The user benefits from a very scalable solution for real-time audio and video conferences which are essentials for flawless and modern communication. Additionally, the current FreeRDP client has been integrated and supports the functionalities of the RDP8 protocol. The communication between Microsoft® Windows 8 and Server 2012 operating systems is granted. An improved illustration of rich media files is possible due to the integration of RemoteFX.
Now the documentation tool (http://www.unicon-software.com/udocs/en/index.html) is online. Udocs describes all technical features of Scout Enterprise and eLux™. Moreover, Udocs offers an easy and quick navigation, an effective search field and an extensive download area.
