Press release from: Testbirds

THE CROWD-TESTING COMPANY TESTBIRDS HAVE DECIDED TO EXPAND BY OPENING OFFICES IN THE UK.

The Testbirds founders created a unique “crowd-testing” platform for web applications and mobile apps on the basis of the reality-oriented testing of software. The testing is done using a large pool of professional and qualified testers and experienced staff. Following the successful establishment in the German market and working with loyal clients such as Allianz and Dr. Oetker, Testbirds now opens up to new markets by expanding in the UK market.

“Now that we are very successful with our service in Germany, we are looking forward to tapping our expertise in new markets. We have opened our first ever office in the UK, and consider this country to be the best location to expand in Europe, based on our internal market analysis.” explains Phillipp Benkler, founder of Testbirds.

Since 2011, the year in which the Munich based company Testbirds was initially set up, the team have grown to over 30 employees with thousands of testers in Europe and around the world. Whilst the commitment of the company is managed from Munich, Testbirds have now taken onboard Chris Harrison, an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand the UK team and crowd. Testbirds will continue to provide a distinct premium service focusing on personal communications with their project managers and customers, in order to guarantee high quality results in the UK.

About Testbirds GmbH:
Testbirds GmbH is an IT service provider headquartered in Munich, with offices in the UK and the Netherlands. The company specializes in the testing of apps and games for digital devices (Apple iOS, Google Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry OS) and web applications (web pages, online shops etc).

Testbirds uses "crowd-testing" to solve the problems with the lack of testing in today’s fast-growing world of technology. They hold a wide network of testers (crowd) qualified with different IT experience, to test software for any operating device combination available. The crowd of testers finds bugs and gives valuable advice in terms of usability, to make your software even more user-friendly.

All companies who develop applications and websites need to test their software to improve their usability and to eliminate bugs. With an increasing number of mobile commerce and digital buyers, software testing is becoming even more important.* Testbirds can offer a fast, extensive and cost effective quality assurance for web applications and mobiles apps through the crowd.
Testbirds was founded in 2011 and supported by different institutions and partners.
