Eight Attorneys from Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail Shank Recognized in 2013 Texas Super Lawyers Listing

DALLAS – The Dallas-based law firm Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail Shank LLP has all eight of its partners recognized on the annual Texas Super Lawyers list, a significant achievement for the 24-attorney firm.

Name partners G. Michael Gruber, Michael K. Hurst, Mark L Johansen, Brian N. Hail and Mark A. Shank again are honored among the top attorneys in the state, as they have been each year since the inception of the list in 2003. They are joined on the list of the state’s top attorneys by partners A. Shonn Brown and Anthony J. Magee. Also named to this year’s list is Jeffrey R. Erler, a 2012 Texas Super Lawyer honoree who joined the firm earlier this year.

In addition, Mr. Hurst and Mr. Shank are named among the Top 100 attorneys in Texas, and are joined by Mr. Gruber in the list of the Top 100 lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth.

To develop the list of Texas’ top attorneys, researchers with Thomson Reuters conducted a statewide survey asking attorneys to nominate their top legal peers. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers then assisted Texas Super Lawyers staff with final selections. No more than 5 percent of Texas attorneys are named to the list each year.
