TipstR.TV in Drive to Identify the Next Superstar DJ

When Forbes published their 2013 ‘Cash Kings’ list of the highest paid DJs, many were astounded to discover that top earner, Calvin Harris, pulled in $46 million annually. “Tiesto” Verwest was second with $32 million, and David Guetta came in at a close third earning $30 million.
Fame, globetrotting, and huge pay checks are what many up and coming Club DJs dream of. However, most aspiring Club DJs struggle to make ends meet. It is almost impossible to break into the highly competitive Club Industry only with talent, and without any Industry contacts.
To enter the competition for the career-making Crown of the Hottest Club DJ on planet Earth, contestants are required to upload a twenty-minute mix to Mixcloud, and send a video to TipstR.TV to introduce themselves.
Industry insiders from Media partners such as Mixcloud.com as well as Bookers, DJ Agencies and seasoned DJ legends will then consider technical skills, musical knowledge and the ability to entertain a party-hungry crowd before selecting the top 12 contestants to perform live at the semi-finals in Berlin in early November 2013.
